Annual Leaderboard: Organisations and Coordinators

There are two key ways organisations can engage with 10,000 Steps community challenges like the Annual Leaderboard.

Promote Participation
Great for Clinicians, Health Professionals, or Support Workers

The Annual Leaderboard is a simple, ready-made option you can recommend to individuals. Because no setup or team creation is required, they are perfect for:

  • Recommending a structured activity for a client or patient.
  • Offering a low-barrier way for individuals to stay active.
  • Supporting long-term engagement without requiring Coordinator involvement.

You don’t need to run or manage anything – just refer individuals to join 10,000 Steps and participate in 10,000 Steps community challenges like the Annual Leaderboard. Our Personal Challenge or Monthly Challenges could also be recommended.

Note: As a Coordinator, you’ll only see participants on the leaderboard if you also join the Annual Leaderboard.

Support Broader Engagement

Great for in between team-based events.

As a coordinator, you can encourage or promote the Annual Leaderboard as a simple, self-directed activity for individuals. This challenge is ideal for:

  • Providing an easy, no-fuss option between team-based events.
  • Keeping individuals engaged year-round without needing to run a new challenge.
  • Supporting staff who prefer to be active on their own rather than in teams.
  • Promoting a continuous culture of physical activity in your workplace.
Note: The Annual Leaderboard is not designed for team-based competition. Check out Group Challenges, Tournaments, and Health Challenges for team-based competitions.
